Zahedul Arefin is the Founder of ZA Capital Advisory. With over 20 years of experience in Project and Corporate Finance, PPP Advisory, Private Equity, Public Issue Management, M&A, Corporate Advisory, Financial Derivatives and Foreign Exchange Trading and Sale, Zahedul Arefin provides strategic leadership to our advisory services.<\/p>

Among many onshore and cross-border deals, some of the most notable transactions to his credit include; Bid Advisory and Corporate Advisory of Dhaka By-pass PPP Project, Demutualization of Dhaka Stock Exchange (official author of the Demutualization Scheme and leader of the team doing the official Valuation of the Exchange for potential investors), leader of the Financial Advisory team to the Dhaka Elevated Expressway Project (the first project under PPP rules and the largest commercial project in Bangladesh), lead the Issue Management of the largest ever Rights Issue in Bangladesh and First ever derivatives deals in Bangladesh in all three asset classes- FX, rates and commodity.<\/p>

Prior to founding ZA Capital Advisory, he was the Director & Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking of BRAC EPL Investments Limited. Currently positioned as the Vice-President at ZA Capital Advisory, Md Shakibul Alam bears the responsibility of carrying out advisory services for the clientele of the firm.<\/p>

Mr. Alam has more than 10 years\u2019 experience in structured finance, fund management & investment banking. He possesses practical knowledge of corporate finance, loan syndication, investment banking, capital market research, fund management and financial analysis. He was involved in arranging more than USD 1 billion in local and cross border loan syndication, project finance and private equity across power and energy, financial institutions, mobile financial services, telecom, PPP projects. He has experience in financial management in capacity of conducting revenue forecasting, business analysis and performance analysis.<\/p>

Prior to joining ZA Capital Advisory, he worked as the Risk Manager of bKash Limited. He also served Robi Axiata Limited, BRAC EPL Investments Limited at various capacities.<\/p>

Mr. Alam has attained closed milestone deals including arranging both debt and equity for several Power Projects (both Turbines and Generator based), advisory and fund-raising service to Dhaka Elevated Expressway PPP Project, advisory service & arranger of Subordinated Bonds for 2 Leading Commercial Banks of Bangladesh.
